Curaçao Decor For Celebration 190 Years Of Diplomatic Relations With Mexico
THE HAGUE - Curaçao is the setting for the celebration of 190 years of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Mexico.
According to Rene Zwart of ABC Online Media, that was agreed today by the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and President Enrique Peña Nieto of Mexico who is bringing a two-day visit to the Netherlands. "The Netherlands and Mexico are fortunate to be good neighbors and distant friends. Because Mexico may seem far away but the Caribbean part of our Kingdom is part of the same region," said Rutte after the meeting.
Through a 25-point joint statement, Nieto and Rutte announced that the 190th anniversary of diplomatic relations and 'as a sign of friendship' the Mexican training sailing vessel ARM Cuauhtémoc will visit the port of Willemstad in July.
