Fleeing Venezuelan Military Will Not Be Expelled For Now

Prison CuracaoWILLEMSTAD - Curaçao is not going to expel the fled sergeant from the Venezuelan army. That's what the Minister of Justice announced after reports from several media on the situation of the Venezuelan refugee.
The soldier was afraid that he would be deported when it turned out that the authorities did not pay heed to his flight story. He, therefore, sought contact with a lawyer and the press.
During the investigation of his reason for fleeing, he may stay on the island. He has not been released from the foreigners’ barracks yet.
