Economist and former Nixon speechwriter Ben Stein slammed CNN saying that President Trump had a right to boycott the White House Correspondents Dinner because it would’ve been another tiring, Trump-bashing event where he would again fend off the media. MSM has been pushed to a desperate corner since Trump’s election with their ratings going down more than ever before.

Disappointed media outlets like CNN cancelled their plans when Trump announced Saturday that he would not show up for the annual dinner shared with the president and the press.
